Territorial Army Centenary

Over 140 TA soldiers, veterans and cadets from Newcastle and Gateshead accompanied by the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Band and the Pipes and Drums from 101 Regiment RA and 102 Battalion REME took part in the parade on the Gateshead Millennium Bridge. The salute was taken by the Lord Lieutenant for Tyne & Wear and the Lord Mayor of Newcastle and the Mayor of Gateshead delivered speeches to mark the centenary of the TA
